Sierra Vista isn't just where I live. It's home, and it always has been.
My journey here began when my father was stationed at Fort Huachuca and decided to retire and put down roots in Sierra Vista. I grew up here, went to school here, and earned my degrees in Accounting and Business Management. Although life took me to the Phoenix area for nine years and Tucson for another two, Sierra Vista eventually called me home.
And I'm so glad it did.
We've raised our two children in this wonderful community, and both have graduated, with our youngest now attending Cochise College. My mother still lives in the house where I grew up, and one of my greatest joys has been watching my own children play in the same places I did as a child. There's something truly special about those full-circle moments.
I love the beauty of Southern Arizona, from the breathtaking mountain views to the wonderful weather, but what makes Sierra Vista truly special to me is the sense of home and community.
During the day, you'll usually find me at the office, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. I'm the person who makes sure our team stays organized, our files are in order, and the little details don't fall through the cracks. With my background in accounting and business management, I genuinely enjoy finding creative ways to improve our processes and make the office more efficient. There's something incredibly satisfying about turning a complicated process into a simple one!
Outside the office, I'm all about enjoying life's little moments. I can happily embrace my inner couch potato with a good TV show, but I also love game nights with friends, superhero movies, and anything with a little action. I've even been known to break into a dance in the grocery store aisles. Life's too short not to have a little fun!
Above all, family is my greatest blessing. Whether I'm spending time with loved ones, laughing with friends, or simply taking in the mountain views, I'm grateful to call Sierra Vista home.
This community has been part of my story for generations, and I'm proud to be part of a team that helps others write their own stories here, too.
